ok,sorry I took so long getting back,I started typing last night and got a bit tired,too much of an abs workout yesterday [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]
my particular routine involves an abdominal bench,at an incline of about 45 degrees.
but you can put the bench much higher as you get stronger in the abs department.
the aim is to go for 100 situps per workout.
but in stages,ie,.....doing as much per set as possible,rest,then repeat...until you have done 100.
it may take four,or five sets to complete.
start off by doing conventional situps,go right back until your back nearly touches the board,then raise head until your forehead touches your knees,keep hands at side of head.
on the second set,take a small weight in your hands,preferable a 2 1/2 kg plate,..hold flat on your chest,and continue,...just before your back touches the bench... holdstill,dont move....until your stomach is burning,then raise and continue,do this at intervals.
try this routine for a couple weeks,then vary your second fifty repetitions by lying on the bench with your feet facing down,keep both feet firmly together,and gently r.a.i.s.e....slowly,lower gently,...raise gently,until the stomach burns.
you can also combine the bench with other abs machine that are available in the gym,...but do your 100 situps first,..then supplement it with whatever abdominal machine they have .
remember....no pain no gain,..it works for me,..and I have the abs to show....so get cracking [img]/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

I've been working mine...and i have to work it hard until it burns that's why i add weights to my routine...my lower abs is the hardest...
And that's my motto...no pain...no gain [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
